The Surgery section of Heart Center is headed by
Dr. T. Jayarama Pai, MS, Mch, FIACS. Dr. Pai is an eminent cardiac surgeon who has worked at in Sri Sathya Sai Baba Heart Institute, Puttaparthy prior to taking charge as the Head Cardiac Surgeon at KG Heart Center. Specializing in adult and pediatric heart surgeries (including coronary artery surgery), he has more than 10 years experience in this field. His specific area of specialization is Beating Heart Coronary Bypass Surgery (without the Heart Lung Machine). He has over the term of his tenure at the center a honed a highly dedicated and experienced team of Cardiothoracic Surgeons, Anaesthesiologists, Perfusionists, Staff Nurses and Paramedical Staff who under him continuously work towards proving the best in surgical Cardiac Care.

Dr. N. Bhaskar, MD DM., an eminent cardiologist, heads the cardiology section of KG Heart Center. A winner of Gold Medal in the Medicine, Dr Bhaskar holds a pedigree of multiple outstanding academic and professional achievements. He has treated more than 18,000 heart attack and heart failure patients and is enthusiast on creating Public Awareness on Heart Care issues. He has towards this end addressed thousands of health awareness programs at major events in corporate, social and general publics venues.
