The Community Outreach Program was initiated under the aegis of Dr. G. Bakthavathsalam, Chairman, K. G. Hospital and focuses on providing affordable healthcare facilities like clinical examination, diagnostics, treatment and surgeries to the deprived both through regional medical camps and at the hospital's main facility in Coimbatore.

In order to strengthen propagation of Health awareness, K.G. Hospital also undertakes extensive awareness programs aimed to provide the community with knowledge on prevention, early diagnosis, and treatment of health issues. This program lays emphasis on sharing information with the common man in the local areas about the latest developments in the field of healthcare and providing expertise to the local population on treatment and prevention of diseases.

The Community Outreach Program started as a vision to reach out to the health needs of those in the remotest corner of the country has till date benefited thousands of people in a step towards a hale and hearty future generation.
