Physiotherapy department at K.G. Hospital; in existence for nearly 20 years; is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and manned by trained and dedicated therapists. The Department also comprises of Electrotherapy and Exercise Units and provides critical rehabilitation support to multiple specialties like Neurology, Orthopaedics and Gynaecology, General Surgery, Neuro Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Cardiothoracic and Pulmonology, Intensive Medical Care and Coronary Care.

The department is well equipped with latest equipments like Snopuls 590, Eltrac 471. Packheater 451, Artomot-K2, Enraf Nonius Manumed, Tilting table, Bobath Plinth and postural drainage couch. In addition to these, other modalities like short-wave diathermy, Interferential therapy, Tens Laser, Wax Bath, Electrical muscle stimulator and other modules of exercise therapy are also available.

The core idea at the Department of Physiotherapy is to ensure that rehabilitation is done in as short a period as possible making life near normal.
