Remember, K.G. Hospital is run by K. Govindaswamy Naidu Medical Trust, which is exempted from Tax under Section 11 of the Income Tax Act of 1961. All donations made to K.G. Hospital are therefore tax exempted under Section 80 G of Income Tax Act.

K. Govindaswamy Naidu Medical Trust is eligible for receiving Foreign contributions from abroad as Donation. The relevant approval of Ministry of Home Affairs was obtained during the year 1998.
K. Govindaswamy Naidu Medical Trust is a Hospital approved under section 17(2) (ii) (b) of the Income Tax Act, 1961 by the Chief Commissioner Of Income Tax, Chennai. By virtue of this approval the treatment charges reimbursed by any employer to it's employee are not taxable in the hands of the benevolent employee.
